A special permit is required for the utilization of an alien species. The permit may only be granted for alien species included in the EU list of Invasive Alien Species in accordance with the Articles 8 and 9 in EU Regulation ((EU) No 1143/2014). The permits are issued by the authority Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland.
